I'm back!!!

I hope you all didn't give up on me. I am finally back in touch with the world. After 9 months we finally have internet! SLOW internet, but it is internet. You learn how to appreciate the was internet, emailing, blogging, facebooking keeps you in touch with friends and family.


Anyway, so here is the update. We are living in Mexico, at Casa Hogar an orphanage across the border. I work in McAllen, Texas at Rio Grande Regional Hospital as a nurse on a Medical Telemetry floor. I absolutely LOVE it. The hardest part is leaving my boys behind. But, I only work 3 days a week so sometimes it doesn't seem like work:)


My boys are getting big. Guillermo will turn 3 in October and Cisco is 9 months already! They are such a joy. Francisco and I celebrated 4 years of marriage August 12th. We are adjusting to life here. It's definitely different. We do miss Iowa. We miss family and friends and hope to go back one day. But, only the Lord knows what the future hold for us.

I'm back folks...

That's right. I'm back to the blogging world. Only because I am visiting Miss Emily Ward and she has connection with the internet world.

By the way....we ended up naming our son Francisco Isaac and we call him Cisco. I will have to post some updated pictures of our family before I leave Austin.

If you are reading this...PLEASE pray I take my nursing boards tomorrow (Friday) at noon. I NEED to pass them!

We have another BOY folks

So there you have it. Yes, last night (Saturday) at 8:30pm our new baby boy was born, weighing 7 pounds 12 ounces and 20 inches long. He is a beauty....I absolutely love him.

It was quite the experience. I was induced that morning and let me tell you people, I forgot what it was like to give birth. It is a lot of work, but worth every minute of it.

I won't give you all a detailed sotry of the birth of this guy, but I will give you a picture:) And we still do not have a name...so I will let you all know when we decide.
